Ulster Dedicated Writers

Breaking News

I’m afraid I’m going to have to take a break from running these sessions for a while. Family issues and my own health have forced me to stop for the summer. I’ll reassess in the autumn and see how things look.

In the meantime, please consider London Writers’ Salon to continue your regular writing habits. They’re brilliant and were the inspiration for UDW.

Ulster Dedicated Writers is a group of like-minded people who are finding it hard to motivate themselves to write in these troubled times.

Founded by Kerry Buchanan in November 2020, it is open to any writers who live in or who have links with Ulster (that is, the counties of Northern Ireland plus Donegal, Monaghan and Cavan).

This is a free resource, with no strings attached. It merely provides a dedicated time to write alongside others for set periods. We share our goals and aspirations, encourage each other, and help each other to keep going.

Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on.
